| Installing
KingSmart From The Download:
To
install KingSmart Hotel Software, first extract the .rar file
using WinRAR, once it has been extracted run KSmartsetup.exe
and follow the instruction on the screen.
1. KingSmart
can be run using MSDE, MS SQL Express, MS SQL 2000/2005.
 If
you don’t have MS SQL, simply click [Install MSDE].
Once MSDE is installed, you need to reboot your computer,
and then once the computer has rebooted then run KSmartsetup.exe.
2. KingSmart also uses Client Drive, if you don’t
have Client Drive, click [Install Client Drive] to install.
3. Enter User name and Serial No:
 For
the Demo CD: enter
User name = KSMARTDEMO
Password = (Blank)
If you have purchased KingSmart then enter you User Name
and Serial No, which is printed on your registration certificate.
4. Select the
KingSmart program that you want to install, and then click
[OK], each program must be installed individually.
5. Install
the Server first, by clicking on [Server], and then install
client by clicking on [Client].

Installing
KingSmart From CD:
To
install KingSmart, insert the CD, and it will automatically
start running. If not, run KSmartsetup.exe and follow the
instruction on the screen.
1. KingSmart
can be run using MSDE, MS SQL Express, MS SQL 2000/2005.
If
you don’t have MS SQL, simply click [Install MSDE].
Once MSDE is installed, you need to reboot your computer,
and then the computer will return to the setup program,
if not then run KSmartsetup.exe.
2. KingSmart also uses Client Drive, if you don’t
have Client Drive, click [Install Client Drive] to install.
3. Enter User name and Serial No:
For
the Demo CD, enter User name = KSMARTDEMO and No Serial
No.
If you have registered or purchased KingSmart then enter
you User Name and Serial No, which is printed on your
registration certificate.
4. Select the
KingSmart program that you want to install, and then click
[OK], each program must be installed individually.
5. Install
the Server first, by clicking on [Server], and then install
client by clicking on [Client].
